Introduction to Social Media Marketing

Find out how Social Media Marketing is changing the way people seek and find products and services, and
how to develop these powerful tools to engage your customers and clients. You’ll learn how and why internet traffic is shifting from static informational webpages to interactive social media. You’ll also use case studies and hands-on strategies to initiate new discussions around your organization, position your business or organization on the forefront of these discussions, and how to implement an information campaign.

Facebook for the Workplace

Build your brand and grow your business in ways you never imagined. You’ll learn how Facebook has changed the way people use the internet, and the strategies that work for engaging customer and clients in positive discussions about your products or services. This hands-on workshop will also guide you through the process of creating your business Facebook page, and start the process of establishing your brand identity. Bring a flash drive to class with photos in jpeg format.

LinkedIn for the Workplace

LinkedIn has been a wonderful source for professionals to network, and is quickly becoming a way for businesses to connect to other businesses, future employees, and to current and future clients and customers. This workshop will get you started with your own professional and business presence on LinkedIn. We’ll also discuss the social media strategies that can be used to effectively and strategically link to others.

Excel for the Workplace

Discover the power of Excel 2010 and put these powerful spreadsheets to work for you. You’ll find out about using Excel templates and create spreadsheets for a variety of applications from calendars to mailing lists and more. Find out how to create formulas to perform several different calculations. This quick paced class is geared to students who have basic computer skills.
