Comparison Shopping Resources

With the holidays coming up, you want to make sure you get the best deals possible.

RedLaser – allows you to scan for nearby deals, keeps track of loyalty programs, can save favorite product, deals or stores, and price comparison online and offline.

RetailMeNot – a digital coupon marketplace app.

PriceGrabber – find and compare products and services.

Google Shopping – comparison and reviews of products.

Amazon – scan barcodes to find similar items on Amazon with secure buying.

Can I watch TV on the internet?

Yes! Yes! Yes! In fact, I would go so far to encourage those who have cable to drop it and save yourself $60. The only thing you can do with cable is watch TV. With the internet, you can do hundreds of things as well as watch TV.

Hulu is a movie and TV show aggregator. Some content is free (mostly really new or really episodes), but they have Hulu Plus service that is $7.99/month.

Most of the channels provide full episodes of the current season of their TV shows. NBC, CBS, ABC, PBS, FOX, MTV, etc.

If you have a tablet or smartphone, you can download free Hulu or channel apps to watch these episodes.
