I have been exploring online versions of my classes. My plan was to have online classes that students could complete at their own pace and time to complement the in-person classes. Due to these recent developments, I will be exploring in-real time class options as well. Would you be interested in taking online classes, either in-real time or at your own pace? Let me know your thoughts by emailing me at breanna@digitalnativescoach.com.

If you have computer questions, please send them my way. If you want to set up an appointment, we have the option of doing a phone meeting and there are resources to screen share and remote access.

Buying Groceries and Stuff

Due to the coronavirus, many of you will be limiting your interactions with others. You can use your computer to help you limit in-person interactions by purchasing stuff online. I know many of you are wary of buying stuff online, but due to the limiting of face-to-face interactions, you now have the time to try it out.

I have a lot of clients that rave about their delivery of groceries from Safeway. As well as the convenience of getting stuff delivered from Amazon. If this is your first-time stick with a well-known company. You will need to have online access to your credit card and you will need an account with the store. Be sure to record the new accounts in your password management system, include name of the company, email address, username, password, pin (if created), and date.

Communicating with Others

Humans are social creatures, we need to interact with others. Even if you have a self-imposed quarantine, you can still communicate with your family and friends. Obviously calling and texting other people are options. But now is the time to try something new.

Have you ever used Facebook’s Messenger program? It is an app you can put on your phone or it’s on their website as the column on the right. Facebook Messenger is an instant messaging program that gives you three methods of communicating: text, phone, and video. It also allows you to send photos, play games, and have group chats.

There are other video chat options available out there. Apple users have FaceTime and Google users have Duo. Duo allows you to video chat with up to 7 other people at once!

If you are part of an organization that needs to move meetings into a virtual space, there are options like EzTalks Webinar and Join.Me
