Digital Natives is dedicated to providing affordable, hands on training and advice to meet everyday technical demands with excellent customer service in the Willamette Valley. Currently, Digital Natives is in Salem, McMinnville, Silverton and Hillsboro Senior Centers where we focus on Smartphone/Tablet and General Technology education. Digital Natives is committed to patience and understanding while teaching safe and secure ways to use new technologies.
Digital Natives was conceived out of an interaction observed at a national bookstore. A customer bought a new e-book reader and had come in to ask a question on how to download e-books. However, the reader was not the kind sold through this bookstore, therefore no one could help the gentleman. Due to the overwhelming technology issues people face on a daily basis, Breanna created a company that could assist people with any brand, any website and any technology related issue; a personal technology consulting company.
Breanna Weston, creator and owner of Digital Natives, started one of the first smartphone and tablet classes in Oregon at Center 50+ in Salem in the Fall of 2012. She continues to teach smartphone and tablet classes at several senior centers in the Willamette Valley as well as other technology classes. She has a Master of Science in Library and Information Science degree from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and was a Reference and Instruction for 9 years at various institutions before focusing solely on Digital Natives. Currently, she lives in Portland with her son and partner.
